What causes Memory Loss ?



We all occasionally experience forgetfulness. Mild memory loss tends to increase with age and is generally no cause for concern. Generally memory loss happens once we reach old age. But in recent studies memory loss and loss of concentration has been increased even with small kids. Say for example at the age of 5. Especially during their examination time they suffer due to forgetfulness about what they learnt. So as we being parents  shout at them if they fail in subjects. Our cursng leads to depreesion for children. So lets stop shouting at children and help them to come over this memory loss and increase concentration with the below YOGASANAS AND MUDRA.



Lets see in case of adults, its because depression, work pressure, stress, family issues etc. So for such problems, to get peace of mind, am sharing this powerful effective yogasanas and Mudra for increasing memory power and concentration. 



There are various natural ways in which one can increase their memory power, concentration levels and enhance and sharpen their skills. But yoga is the most chosen option amongst all. Yoga and Mudra is such one natural type for increasing memory power and concentration.

Following is a list asanas in yoga and mudra for concentration and memory. Follow the simple step by step instructions given below and get started. Lets start up with Mudra.



Mudra:



In my previous blog i have clearly explained what is mudra and its benefits. For new readers explaning about Mudra which is "Fingers As Doctors". You may be wondering why this ancient practice has come to act now. Its nothing but abolition of our traditonal educational system like Guru kulas is also another reason.  It is a lesson for us. Request readers to use this blog as an awareness. You can also teach anyone this mudra as it is  for a good cause. There are many types of mudra, out of them only 108 mudra has been chosen as a first attempt for medical use. Among 108 mudra am here to display mudra for memory loss and concentrtaion. 




Our fingers represents the 5 elements-- Fire, Air, Sky, Earth, Water. According tho which our body seems to function with these 5 states being he functioning and to have a healthy life, practicing mudra is very essential. 

This mudra is called as "GNANA MUDRA". This particular mudra is very  much helpful for kids as they should practice this for increasing memory power and jell well in their life. Doesn't mean others shouldn't do. Its applicable for all. 

"This is the only one mudra, where even children below 10 years can do".

Based on the philosophy of nature, our fingers represents the five elements: water, earth, sky, air and fire.  A well structured human body will be caused illness due to

Over weight lifting
Uncontrolled food habits

Drinking too chill or too hot

Any other time after 12.00a.m and 3.00a.m.



4. Which is the ideal place for doing mudra?



 The place we sit and sleep is more than enough to do mudra.  



5. In which position we have to to mudra?


Better not to do mudra while walking and standing as our feet has the possibility for generated electricity in our body to flow into the ground and get wasted. 



6. Is it necessary to do mudra by both the hands?


 Its good to do by using both the hands. If in any case do in single hand. 




Procedure to do Gnana Mudra as below




GNANA MUDRA



As shown in the figure, touch the tip of the index finger with the tips of the thumb and keep all the other fingers straight. Do it in both the hands. 

Duration:  20-40 minutes






Benefits:


This mudra is helpful to increase memory power and concentration.
Relieve stress and depression
Cure the headache due to stress and tension. 

Yogasana For Memory


Paschimottanasana:




To do the paschimottanasana, sit on the floor, legs spread straight and hands placed on the floor besides the body. 







Raise your arms with body erect, slowly try to bend






Bend your body in the forward direction from your hips. Lengthen your tailbone, lean forwards and stretch your hands forward towards your toes. Relax.



Padmasana:



This is the best asana to relax, calm your mind and thus sharpen your memory skills. 

Sit on the floor with your legs spread straight out in front of you. 

Bend your right knee, lift it up with your right hand and place it on the outer side of your left thigh. Bend your left knee, lift it up with your left hand and place it on the outer edge of your right thigh. 


Place your hands on your knees, palms down. Close your eyes and concentrate. Relax.



Padahastasana:





This pose is also known as hands-to-feet pose. 

Stand on the floor in a straight position. 













Raise your arms upwards, stretch your body, and slowly try to bend.








Exhale and bend downwards from your hips until your hands reach your toes. 

Hold the toes with your hands and remain steady. Relax.








Vajrasana:


Kneel down on the floor. Your knees, big toes and ankles should be parallel to each other and should touch the ground. Place your palms on the knees. Keep your spine straight. Look in the front direction, close your eyes. Relax.
